Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Lead software engineering teams delivering client-facing cash management applications and scalable microservices integrations.
- Provide technical leadership, architectural recommendations, design enhancements, and hands-on coding for Java/J2EE applications.
- Design application interfaces and integrations using APIs, MQ, Kafka, and message-driven architecture.
- Develop product and systems roadmaps with business and IT stakeholders.
- Create and review business, functional design, and detailed design documentation and obtain stakeholder sign-off.
- Deliver projects with automated unit, integration, and performance testing pipelines.
- Lead SaaS platform upgrades, vendor patching, product testing, escalation, and incident handling.
- Promote automation across Java/MQ build, deployment, and testing pipelines.
- Establish monitoring, alerting, performance tuning, and production support practices.
- Manage SSL/TLS certificates, MQ certificates, service-account password rotations, timelines, quality, and SLA delivery.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a closely related discipline, or an equivalent combination of formal education and experience.
- 10+ years of experience in the financial industry, preferably banking.
- 8+ years leading end-to-end project delivery through Agile or waterfall/SDLC development cycles.
- 8+ years of cash management or liquidity management experience, including payment initiation, processing, reporting, wire, and ACH payments.
- 8+ years of experience with web applications deployed in WebSphere, WebLogic, JBoss, or Kubernetes in internet-facing environments.
- 8+ years of application design and development experience across front end/UI, middleware services, and back-end databases.
- 8+ years of development experience with Java, Hibernate, Spring Boot, React, JavaScript, TypeScript, microservices, Angular, CSS, HTML, SOAP/REST APIs, flat files, CSV, XML, and JSON APIs.
- 8+ years of batch programming experience using Shell, DOS, Python, Autosys job scheduling, testing, and processing.
- 8+ years of experience with SQL and Oracle databases, including tables, stored procedures, PL/SQL, SQL Agent jobs, and reporting.
- Strong background in CI/CD, cloud-native architecture, OpenShift, Kubernetes, and public cloud environments.
- Understanding of banking transmission formats including NACHA, ISO 20022, and BAI2.
- Understanding of agentic AI use in code, deployment, testing, and documentation.
- Preferred experience with AWS S3, Lambda, and Terraform.
- Strongly preferred experience with Bottomline Technology Digital Banking, ACI Worldwide Online Banking, or Finastra Cash Management platforms.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work with stakeholders across the enterprise.
