Responsibilities
- Write clean, maintainable C#/.NET code and regularly deliver high-quality working software.
- Provide comprehensive code reviews and develop expert knowledge of the team’s codebase.
- Create documentation and technical guides for critical systems.
- Help define SRE standards for application monitoring and incident response.
- Drive high-level technical decisions, evaluate trade-offs and risks, and promote organization-wide technical alignment.
- Diagnose complex bugs across code and infrastructure and provide fixes with automated regression tests.
- Provide direction for technical improvements and mentor, coach, and empower other engineers.
- Share knowledge through demos and presentations and promote effective use of Claude Code and other AI tools.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in computer science or a related field.
- At least 10 years of experience working with .NET C#.
- Expertise in C#/.NET and substantial experience applying microservice architectures in multiple contexts.
- At least two years of experience with event-driven architectures and event streaming or messaging tools such as Kafka, Pulsar, or RabbitMQ.
- Experience with NoSQL databases such as Elasticsearch, Dynamo, MongoDB, or Redis, including selecting databases for appropriate use cases.
- Strong knowledge of deploying and scaling cloud applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
- At least three years of technical leadership experience, including mentoring engineers or leading projects, initiatives, teams, or engineering community events.
- Ability to drive best-practice improvements, make complex technical decisions, identify and mitigate risks, learn complex architectures quickly, and solve difficult technical problems independently.
- Excellent communication, teamwork, adaptability, continuous-improvement, initiative, pragmatic execution, and data-driven decision-making skills.
- Experience deploying and using Claude Code and other AI tools across an engineering organization is required.
