Responsibilities
- Lead development of high-impact, user-facing safety products.
- Own complex, multi-milestone projects end-to-end.
- Design, build, and deploy robust production APIs and backend services.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with various teams to create impactful solutions.
- Drive engineering excellence by mentoring others and guiding the team.
- Respond rapidly to the evolving abuse and compliance landscape.
Requirements
- 8+ years of relevant industry experience.
- Strong expertise in Python and back-end API frameworks like Flask and Django.
- Strong front-end development skills with JavaScript (React, TypeScript).
- Significant experience in the Safety or Anti-Abuse domain.
- Proven track record of owning large projects end-to-end.
- Demonstrated ability to make independent technical decisions.
- Experience driving engineering excellence through quality standards and code reviews.
- Strong communication skills for providing technical feedback and driving alignment.
- Experience using metrics and dashboards for data-driven decisions.
- Ability to mentor others and establish best practices.
