Base Salary
$146k - $197k/yr
Responsibilities
- Collaborate on the design, implementation, operation, and maintenance of AWS infrastructure using Infrastructure-as-Code principles.
- Develop and maintain local development tooling, observability tools, deployment tools, and interfaces into AWS, CircleCI, and other infrastructure components.
- Participate in the on-call rotation and improve the team’s on-call experience.
- Optimize and improve continuous deployment performance.
- Manage incidents and collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain infrastructure availability, responsiveness, and stability.
- Mentor peers, build strong working relationships, and use AI tools while maintaining engineering judgment and standards.
Requirements
- Demonstrated expertise providing systems support in a cloud environment, preferably AWS, with Azure experience beneficial.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.
- Experience optimizing and improving continuous deployment performance.
- Relevant programming experience with Ruby, Python, or Bash.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and incident management responsibilities.
- Strong interest in reliability, automation, orchestration, continuous improvement, problem-solving, and technology.
- Exceptional interpersonal and cross-functional collaboration skills, including in high-pressure situations.
- Preferred experience supporting Ruby on Rails, GQL, and React applications in production.
- Preferred experience with security, scalability, observability, Kubernetes, networking, DNS, domain infrastructure, and Cloudflare.
