Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain secure, scalable, highly available, and multi-region Azure infrastructure.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, developers, InfoSec, compliance, and business teams to deliver enterprise-grade regulated cloud platforms.
- Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code with Terraform for Azure provisioning, configuration, and deployment.
- Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and GitHub Actions.
- Implement monitoring, observability, and alerting; proactively address incidents and participate in incident response.
- Support cloud cost optimization, disaster recovery, business continuity, and uptime strategies.
- Maintain infrastructure and operational documentation and mentor junior engineers.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 4 years of cloud infrastructure engineering experience.
- At least 3 years of hands-on Microsoft Azure experience.
- Experience designing, deploying, and managing cloud infrastructure at scale.
- Practical experience configuring and maintaining CI/CD pipelines with Azure DevOps and GitHub Actions.
- Experience working in regulated environments, ideally healthcare, with HIPAA and/or SOC compliance requirements.
- Hands-on understanding of cloud security practices including identity and access management, encryption, and monitoring/logging.
- Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Strong Terraform and Infrastructure as Code experience is preferred, as are Azure App Services, networking, storage, Docker, Azure Kubernetes Service, and relevant Azure certifications.
- AWS or Google Cloud Platform experience is a plus.
