Base Salary
$123k - $215k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead the full software development lifecycle for applications and systems, from inception through deployment.
- Direct technical project work focused on scalability, performance, reliability, and high-quality delivery.
- Supervise, mentor, and coach software engineers and cross-functional colleagues.
- Review code and establish coding standards, development methodologies, and engineering best practices.
- Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks and support application changes and implementations.
- Collaborate with product and business teams to align technology initiatives with organizational objectives.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or comparable experience; an advanced degree is preferred.
- Experience in software engineering and development or a related role.
- Expertise in application design, software development, and automated testing.
- Experience with object-oriented design and coding across multiple languages.
- Experience with distributed systems, algorithms, and relational databases.
- Knowledge of NoSQL databases and the tools used to plan, analyze, build, test, configure, and maintain applications.
- Experience with Agile software development practices such as Scrum, Kanban, iterations, and user stories.
- Experience with automation testing and documentation, including automated, functional, and performance testing.
- Employment eligibility to work in the United States is required.
