Responsibilities
- Embed onsite with Department of War customer groups and build deep understanding of their missions.
- Build trust with users and help solve operational problems in the field.
- Decompose ambiguous mission problems into specific hypotheses and workflows.
- Configure and iteratively improve product workflows for users.
- Test and troubleshoot releases, debug deployed-system issues, and coordinate resolutions with engineering.
- Identify successful workflows, onboard users, and document evidence of mission impact.
- Develop relationships with additional user groups and identify opportunities to create value.
- Operate independently, set priorities onsite, and represent Vannevar with customers.
Requirements
- Active Top Secret clearance and U.S. Persons status.
- Based in Minnesota with approximately 75% time traveling out of state to work alongside users across the United States.
- Ability to build trust with users in operational environments and represent the company professionally in high-stakes government settings.
- Strong ownership, persistence, judgment, and ability to operate independently through ambiguity and iteration.
- Technical intuition regarding how software systems work, fail, and can be improved.
- Curiosity about configuring and applying agentic AI systems to create mission impact.
