Base Salary

$113k - $302k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Design and engineer enterprise-ready AI agents with retrieval, orchestration, policy-based routing, tool invocation, evaluation harnesses, and lifecycle observability.
  • Develop abstraction layers across Anthropic, Google, OpenAI, Claude, and other AI providers for multi-provider pipelines.
  • Build scalable cloud-native systems using containerization, microservices, serverless, event-driven architectures, infrastructure as code, monitoring, and debugging.
  • Tailor and deploy agentic workflows for finance, healthcare, retail, and other industry-specific processes.
  • Lead client design workshops, proofs of concept, code-with sessions, and technical stakeholder engagements.
  • Define metrics, test harnesses, and evaluation plans for agent accuracy, latency, safety, and cost effectiveness.
  • Create reusable patterns, documentation, and best practices for internal assets and client roadmaps.

Requirements

  • Minimum 10 years of end-to-end software engineering and software development lifecycle experience.
  • Minimum 8 years programming in Python, Java, or equivalent, including evaluation tooling, logging, monitoring, and agent observability.
  • Minimum 8 years deploying production systems with CI/CD, Terraform, Helm, monitoring, and debugging.
  • Minimum 8 years of client communication and collaboration, including leading technical workshops and delivering under ambiguity.
  • Minimum 3 years engineering cloud-native systems involving APIs, microservices, containerization, and serverless architectures.
  • Minimum 3 years working with AI platforms including OpenAI, Claude, and open-source models, including multi-provider abstraction layers.
  • Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience designing and delivering Agentic AI solutions.
  • Minimum 1.5 years working with semantic models, ontologies, knowledge graphs, or enterprise knowledge, and using coding agents and AI-assisted software development.
  • Minimum 1 year designing and deploying production agentic solutions involving agents, orchestration, context engineering, RAG, and workflows.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent minimum 12 years of work experience; an associate degree requires at least 6 years of work experience.
  • Preferred qualifications include enterprise Agentic AI engineering, AI certifications, agentic tools, compound AI architectures, orchestration frameworks, agent registries, stream-based architectures, and experience across multiple industries.
