Base Salary
$94k - $142k/yr
Responsibilities
- Conduct feasibility studies, estimates, planning, risk analysis, applications development, and model development.
- Design, develop, test, implement, and support new or revised application systems and programs.
- Monitor development phases including analysis, design, construction, testing, and implementation.
- Analyze complex application and business-process problems and recommend programming solutions.
- Develop integrated solutions addressing scalability, availability, consistency, security, and other non-functional requirements.
- Build and document REST APIs and web services using Swagger/OpenAPI.
- Write clean Core Java and J2EE code using collections and multithreading, and troubleshoot application issues.
- Perform unit testing and ensure adequate test coverage.
- Work with Docker, Kubernetes, Kafka, relational databases, SQL, JPA2, and Hibernate.
- Consult with users, clients, and technology groups and provide user and operational support.
- Recommend security measures involving authentication, authorization, and security protocols.
- Serve as an advisor or coach to new or lower-level analysts and act as a subject-matter expert for stakeholders.
Requirements
- 5–8 years of relevant experience in systems analysis and software applications programming.
- Bachelor’s or university degree, or equivalent experience.
- Experience managing and implementing successful projects.
- Working knowledge of consulting and project management techniques and methods.
- Strong knowledge of Core Java, Java EE, Spring Boot, and Spring Microservices.
- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming, data structures, and algorithms.
- Extensive experience designing and developing integrated solutions with non-functional requirements.
- Expertise in coding, problem-solving, troubleshooting, collections, and multithreading.
- Proficiency developing APIs and web services using REST protocols.
- Strong experience with unit testing and test coverage.
- Solid understanding of Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience defining, documenting, implementing, and testing APIs with Swagger/OpenAPI.
- Familiarity with standard and enterprise design patterns.
- Experience with high-speed messaging platforms, particularly Kafka.
- Advanced knowledge of relational databases, SQL, and ORM technologies including JPA2 and Hibernate.
- Expertise in authentication, authorization, and security protocols.
- Experience with continuous integration and continuous delivery tools.
- Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing and manage deadlines or changing requirements.
- Knowledge of AI/ML, LLMs, Spring AI, or Python is relevant.
Benefits
- Full-time position.
- Primary full-time salary range is $94,300.00–$141,500.00 per year.
