Responsibilities
- Debug software products through systematic testing and help develop, apply, and maintain quality standards.
- Develop an automation roadmap and establish appropriate testing frameworks.
- Maintain and improve the existing automation suite.
- Enable project test teams to perform automation through appropriate tools and strategies.
- Develop, modify, and execute automated testing scripts and programs.
- Maintain test-result documentation to support debugging and software modification.
- Collaborate with QA engineers to design and implement new testing strategies, tools, and concepts.
- Drive quality processes through disciplined versioning, documentation, and deployment practices.
Requirements
- At least seven years of proven professional experience.
- Experience developing and maintaining QA UI and API test automation frameworks.
- Good programming or scripting practices and familiarity with code review, Git distributed repositories, and CI tools and techniques.
- Experience with Selenium or similar automation tools.
- Experience with Cucumber, Allure, or similar reporting tools.
- Familiarity with white-box, black-box, grey-box, acceptance, regression, and system integration testing.
- Familiarity with quality metrics including escaped defects, reliability, repeatability, and resiliency.
- Strong interpersonal skills for gathering relevant project information from different teams.
- A bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, mathematics, statistics, or a related technical field is preferred, or equivalent practical experience.
