Responsibilities
- Configure and extend Calypso application modules across interest rates, commodities, FX, FX options, and equity derivatives.
- Support collateral management, General Ledger accounting, ISDA SIMM, and SWIFT processing.
- Integrate Calypso with DTCC SDR, FedWire, Bloomberg, AcadiaSoft, TriResolve, market-data sources, and market- and credit-risk platforms.
- Develop and support applications using WebSphere, Java, Spring Boot, MQ, ETL, and APIs.
- Work with UNIX, Oracle, SQL, PostgreSQL, and Linux platforms.
- Use Java, JavaScript, HTML, Python, Angular, and UNIX shell scripts.
- Work with AWS cloud services, DevSecOps, CI/CD pipelines, Bitbucket, Nexus, Jenkins, Terraform, or equivalent tools.
- Lead and mentor software engineers.
- Communicate effectively with technical and business stakeholders.
Requirements
- At least 7 years of directly related experience supporting Nasdaq’s Calypso platforms and infrastructure.
- 8–12 years of overall experience is specified.
- Deep experience with Calypso configuration, implementation, and testing for OTC derivatives across the trading lifecycle.
- Experience with capital-markets COTS products, UNIX, PL/SQL, Core Java, and Calypso domain skills.
- Experience with collateral management, General Ledger accounting, ISDA SIMM, and SWIFT processing.
- Hands-on integration experience with financial-market utilities, market-data sources, and market- and credit-risk platforms.
- Mastery of multiple programming languages, particularly Java, JavaScript, HTML, Python, Angular, and UNIX shell scripting.
- AWS cloud-services experience and familiarity with DevSecOps and CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.
- AWS Solutions Architect or other cloud certification is listed as a preferred qualification.
