Responsibilities
- Design and deliver scalable, highly available, performant, and resilient cloud-native software solutions.
- Create reusable Terraform templates and modules for provisioning infrastructure across multiple AWS accounts and environments.
- Troubleshoot and optimize Terraform configurations and build CI/CD workflows for validating and deploying infrastructure templates.
- Collaborate with application teams to translate infrastructure needs into standardized Terraform modules.
- Build and maintain Golang-based APIs and microservices supporting platform automation.
- Design RESTful APIs, event-driven systems, and asynchronous workflows for distributed infrastructure operations.
- Use and critically validate enterprise-authorized AI-assisted development tools for coding, testing, troubleshooting, and documentation.
Requirements
- Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts and 3+ years of applied experience.
- Hands-on experience with Terraform, AWS, system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
- Proficiency in Golang or Terraform and experience in cloud-native environments.
- Experience developing, debugging, and maintaining software in a large corporate environment using modern programming and database querying languages.
- Knowledge of software design principles, design patterns, modular monoliths, and microservices.
- Experience using enterprise-authorized AI-assisted software development tools and validating their outputs for correctness, performance, and security.
- Understanding of responsible AI use, data sensitivity, secure input and output handling, resiliency, and security practices.
- Preferred experience designing and maintaining API-driven or event-driven architectures.
- Preferred familiarity with React, Angular, or Node.js and corresponding state management solutions.
