Responsibilities
- Evaluate and prototype emerging technologies with the Product Manager and lead solution selection.
- Design scalable, reusable application architectures and produce model code and development patterns.
- Translate business requirements into solution designs focused on quality, scalability, availability, maintainability, and reuse.
- Define technical architecture across modeling, design, development, testing, and production support.
- Present architecture proposals and facilitate design reviews and collaborative brainstorming.
- Mentor developers and guide implementation according to architectural standards and best practices.
- Provide hands-on technical support to development teams and resolve complex technical challenges.
- Align technology solutions with business strategy and IT standards.
Requirements
- At least 8 years of application development experience delivering enterprise-scale solutions.
- Expert proficiency in Java and Spring Boot, including reusable object-oriented design patterns.
- Strong experience developing RESTful services and scalable APIs.
- Experience with JPA/Hibernate or other ORM technologies and proficiency in SQL or PL/SQL.
- Hands-on experience with Maven and continuous integration tools such as Bamboo or Azure DevOps.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science or a related field.
- Experience working with diverse, multi-location internal and external teams.
