Responsibilities
- Design, develop, maintain, optimize, and refactor scalable backend services and APIs using Node.js and JavaScript.
- Build MongoDB data models, indexing strategies, query performance improvements, and data governance practices.
- Contribute to AWS cloud architecture, deployment, monitoring, logging, alerting, troubleshooting, and operational excellence.
- Design and integrate interfaces across multiple business platforms with stable, traceable, and extensible data flows.
- Contribute to large-scale data architecture involving caching, asynchronous processing, messaging systems, and observability solutions.
- Participate in technical documentation, code reviews, testing practices, architecture evolution, and engineering standards.
- Analyze and resolve complex production issues while collaborating across global technical teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or above in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of backend software development experience building and maintaining medium- to large-scale services.
- Strong proficiency in Node.js and JavaScript, including service design, development, optimization, and refactoring.
- Solid experience with MongoDB data modeling, query optimization, indexing, and performance tuning in high-volume environments.
- Experience with AWS cloud services and cloud deployment, monitoring, logging, alerting, and troubleshooting.
- Experience designing high-availability, high-concurrency, and distributed systems and resolving complex production issues independently.
- Strong API design and system integration experience.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
- Professional working proficiency in English and ability to collaborate with North American engineering teams.
- Preferred experience with online ordering, retail, restaurant, ERP, CRM, or other transaction-intensive systems; large-scale data architectures; messaging, caching, task scheduling, event-driven architectures, observability; DevOps practices; CI/CD pipelines; containerization; automated deployment; and global collaboration.
