Responsibilities
- Contribute to technical work from design through implementation, testing, and launch with guidance from experienced engineers.
- Write high-quality, documented, tested, and operable code that meets team standards.
- Collaborate with engineers and cross-functional partners to identify solutions, communicate progress, and deliver outcomes.
- Contribute to production systems and projects that improve Pinterest products, platforms, and infrastructure.
- Apply AI concepts and AI-assisted software development responsibly, validating outputs through testing and code review.
Requirements
- Have obtained or be obtaining a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field by June 2027.
- Be able to start between January 2027 and September 2027.
- Have at least one year of programming experience in an object-oriented language.
- Have experience from previous software engineering internships.
- Be proficient in a dynamic programming language such as Python.
- Demonstrate understanding of computer science fundamentals, including data structures and algorithms.
- Have strong communication skills and product sense.
