Responsibilities
- Maintain and iterate on Addepar’s Swiss AWS environment to enforce data locality restrictions.
- Partner with the Swiss Infrastructure Operations team to uphold security standards.
- Contribute to the design and hardening of a multi-account AWS environment.
- Design and build secure networking and private resource access patterns.
- Author and maintain Terraform code for security infrastructure.
- Write and support CI checks using policy-as-code and IaC scanning.
- Automate vulnerability detection and remediation using AWS technologies.
- Strengthen identity and secrets management strategies.
- Utilize discovery tools for investigations and troubleshooting.
- Participate in infrastructure design reviews and cloud security assessments.
- Act as an escalation point for the Security Operations Center.
Requirements
- Extensive experience in security with hands-on AWS experience in production environments.
- Bachelor’s degree in CS/Engineering or equivalent practical experience is preferred.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence and mentor.
- Expertise in AWS security best practices and native AWS services.
- Advanced Terraform experience including module creation and CI integration.
- Extensive experience with Python and the boto3 library.
- Deep networking knowledge.
- Strong fundamentals in Linux, containers, K8s, and CI/CD.
- Experience with policy-as-code, GitOps, and Zero Trust solutions.
