Base Salary

$26.5 - $51/yr

Responsibilities

  • Operate robot teleoperation systems and perform manipulation tasks through teleoperation, extended reality, or human data-collection modes.
  • Coordinate data-collection plans with the ML team, manage machine availability, and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Manage robotics hardware, build robotics stations, and identify mechanical inconsistencies, behavioral anomalies, UX gaps, and workflow issues.
  • Ensure safe operation of robotics systems and follow human and machine safety protocols.
  • Develop robot learning methods and train robot policies using collected data across various robot platforms.
  • Support experiments, academic publications, invention reports, and technical reports.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a master’s degree in Robotics, Machine Learning, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3.0 GPA.
  • At least 3 years of experience testing or using interactive systems such as games, simulations, or robotics.
  • Familiarity with robotics data-collection and retargeting pipelines.
  • Background in Robot Learning or Robotics R&D.
  • Preferred qualifications include experience with robotics tools, simulations, data-collection systems, multiple robot hardware platforms, and the Linux command line.
  • Preferred qualifications include strong physical-task learning ability, attention to detail, spatial awareness, coordination, issue investigation, adaptability, and methodical problem-solving.
