Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end solution architecture for complex, software-heavy automation systems.
- Lead early requirements definition, risk identification, solution modeling, and development of solution alternatives.
- Validate feasibility, performance, and integration across hardware, controls, and software platforms.
- Serve as the primary technical escalation point during execution and support issue resolution, trade studies, and corrective actions.
- Partner with software and technology vendors to validate capabilities, limitations, testing strategies, emulation, and simulation.
- Support commissioning and ramp-up planning, system readiness, performance expectations, and operational handoff.
- Capture lessons learned and improve standards, templates, and repeatable solution patterns.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Computer Science, or Mathematics.
- Minimum of 10 years across progressive roles in warehouse design and automation.
- Proven experience designing large, complex distribution fulfillment operations.
- Proven experience managing client-facing pre-sales engineering.
- Proven experience learning, designing, and implementing business processes and systems.
- Proven experience leading continuous improvement initiatives that produce sustained results and embedded behaviors.
