Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable, performant, and fault-tolerant services for cybersecurity range simulation.
- Lead technical projects end to end, including requirements gathering, architecture, deployment, and goal setting.
- Mentor engineers on coding practices, testing, and architectural design.
- Collaborate with Product Managers and UX Designers to translate requirements into user-centered technical solutions.
- Conduct code reviews and provide feedback on code quality, performance, and standards adherence.
- Implement monitoring and alerting to support high uptime and rapid issue response.
- Integrate security and compliance controls into the development lifecycle.
- Document technical architecture, system design, and best practices.
Requirements
- At least 6 years of hands-on software development experience focused on large-scale distributed systems.
- Expertise in an object-oriented language such as Java or Kotlin, including API design and integration best practices.
- Experience with unit testing, integration testing, and deploying services in Kubernetes or a similar container orchestration platform.
- Ability to design, build, and operate fault-tolerant systems, including requirements gathering and project breakdown.
- Broad understanding of offensive and defensive cybersecurity.
- Ability to lead, drive, and delegate team initiatives and collaborate effectively.
- Experience in or adjacent to the cybersecurity field.
