Responsibilities

  • Provide technical leadership to QA teams supporting MineStar modernization initiatives.
  • Define and govern test strategy, validation approaches, quality standards, and Definition of Done across legacy-to-modern platform transitions.
  • Define, refactor, and extend test suites and drive automation strategy, coverage, and standards.
  • Review QA test plans and ensure functional, integration, system, and non-functional test coverage.
  • Guide component-level, service-level, and API testing and drive validation execution against acceptance criteria.
  • Identify quality risks and dependencies, determine automation versus manual validation, and drive mitigation actions.
  • Define and enforce quality gates and deployment-readiness decisions.
  • Track quality metrics, test effectiveness, and defect trends while driving continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with Product Managers, Architects, Engineering, and QA teams to align validation with feature intent.

Requirements

  • 12+ years of experience in Quality Assurance and automation testing.
  • Experience working with multiple or large QA teams in enterprise or platform modernization programs.
  • Strong expertise in manual testing concepts and test design techniques.
  • Experience with Git, Maven, Jenkins, and DevOps pipelines.
  • Hands-on experience with Cucumber and Playwright.
  • Strong understanding of SDLC and STLC in Agile and SAFe environments.
  • Knowledge of non-functional testing methodologies including performance, reliability, scalability, and security testing.
  • Strong quality and release risk assessment and decision-making capabilities.
