Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain scalable UI, API, and mobile test automation frameworks.
- Lead and mentor QA and automation engineers while establishing coding standards, conducting code reviews, and driving test-engineering best practices.
- Integrate automated test suites into Jenkins and Tekton CI/CD pipelines and establish automated quality gates.
- Define automation roadmaps, estimate automation efforts, and align testing with sprint goals and product-owner priorities.
- Track and report quality metrics including test coverage, execution pass rates, and defect leakage.
- Assess delivery risks and drive compliance with applicable laws, rules, and regulations.
Requirements
- At least 8 years of software quality engineering experience, including at least 5 years of hands-on test automation framework development.
- Strong proficiency in at least one object-oriented language such as Java, Python, or C#, or in JavaScript/TypeScript.
- Hands-on expertise with Selenium WebDriver, Cypress, Playwright, or Appium.
- Experience with automated API testing using RestAssured, Postman, or Karate.
- Understanding of Jenkins, Git, Bitbucket, Tekton, Docker, Kubernetes, or OpenShift.
- Strong ability to write complex SQL queries for data validation and backend testing.
- Deep understanding of Agile/Scrum and BDD/TDD practices.
- Bachelor’s or university degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience.
