Responsibilities
- Own the full verification and validation lifecycle for dedicated grade control platform products.
- Collaborate with Product Owners and Development teams to translate features into acceptance criteria and actionable V&V goals.
- Assess feature risks and participate in product risk assessment using risk-based testing practices.
- Develop and optimize test strategies across the software development lifecycle, from component testing through Hardware-in-the-Loop and physical machine testing.
- Validate software performance metrics and failure modes, including network bus loads and CPU loads.
- Establish V&V processes, review test plans and results, plan machine-test time, and drive exploratory and design-margin testing.
- Create and maintain HIL simulations and automated API verification frameworks using dSPACE, Vector tools, Simulink, Stateflow, Playwright, and Postman.
- Develop machine simulations and conduct hands-on machine, environmental, and performance testing.
- Drive DVP&R and Risk-Based Thinking practices, train product teams, and mentor validation engineers.
Requirements
- Experience with end-to-end verification and validation strategy for platform products.
- Ability to understand product functionality and application across the full lifecycle from development through deprecation.
- Experience with risk assessment, test planning, test-result reviews, exploratory testing, and validation process improvement.
- Experience with Hardware-in-the-Loop validation and machine or environmental testing.
- Experience with dSPACE, Vector tools, Simulink, and Stateflow for HIL harnessing, modeling, and execution.
- Experience designing or maintaining automated API verification frameworks with tools such as Playwright and Postman.
- Experience validating software performance, including network bus loads and CPU loads.
- Ability to collaborate across Product and Development teams and mentor validation engineers.
- Experience with AI agentic QA tools and extensive test automation is expected or strongly valued.
