Responsibilities
- Own the technical direction and architecture of custom software and automation solutions.
- Design, develop, maintain, and enhance Playwright automation frameworks and automated test scripts.
- Use TypeScript and JavaScript to create scalable, maintainable, and reusable test automation solutions.
- Integrate automated testing into Jenkins and other CI/CD pipelines.
- Use Playwright MCP, GitHub Copilot, and GenAI tools to improve automation productivity and test coverage.
- Manage automation source code and assets with Git, GitHub, and Bitbucket.
- Collaborate with development and QA teams to support reliable, high-quality releases.
- Contribute to regression automation, process optimization, continuous improvement, and quality engineering initiatives.
- Report automation progress, risks, blockers, and testing outcomes to stakeholders.
Requirements
- At least 7.5 years of experience in test automation; the posting also describes a preferred experience range of 7–10 years.
- Proficiency with the Playwright Automation Framework is required.
- Strong hands-on experience with TypeScript and JavaScript.
- Experience with Jenkins and other CI/CD tools.
- Working knowledge of Playwright MCP.
- Experience with GitHub Copilot and GenAI tools.
- Strong knowledge of Git, GitHub, and Bitbucket.
- Experience developing test automation frameworks.
- Ability to design scalable, maintainable, and reusable automation solutions.
- Understanding of the software testing lifecycle, quality engineering principles, and modern QA practices.
- Experience working in Agile development and testing environments.
- Veeva Safety domain knowledge is highly preferred.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, debugging, collaboration, and communication skills.
- Completion of 15 years of full-time education is required.
