Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain infrastructure automation solutions using infrastructure-as-code and DevOps practices.
- Develop predictive automation using monitoring and observability tools.
- Build and maintain deployment pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, CircleCI, Travis CI, and ArgoCD.
- Manage infrastructure as code with Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, Ansible, Pulumi, and Crossplane.
- Deploy, monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize applications across AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud Platform.
- Implement automated monitoring, logging, alerting, security controls, and compliance practices.
- Resolve production issues with a focus on uptime, performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Participate in code reviews and DevOps strategy discussions.
- Collaborate with developers, QA engineers, and IT and operations teams to improve development workflows.
- Mentor junior developers and support continuous improvement of deployment and operational processes.
- Support multi-cloud monitoring, network observability, cloud performance analysis, cost optimization, and incident response.
- Work flexibly in a 24/7 operating environment.
Requirements
- At least 7.5 years of professional experience is required.
- 15 years of full-time education is required.
- Strong experience with cloud automation and DevOps engineering.
- Experience with CI/CD tools including Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, CircleCI, Travis CI, and ArgoCD.
- Experience with infrastructure-as-code and configuration-management tools including Terraform, Ansible, AWS CloudFormation, Pulumi, Chef, Puppet, and SaltStack.
- Knowledge of AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud Platform, including compute, networking, storage, databases, containers, and serverless services.
- Experience with monitoring, observability, logging, alerting, and incident-management tools.
- Knowledge of Linux, Bash scripting, Windows Server, networking protocols, security controls, secrets management, and vulnerability scanning.
- Understanding of Kubernetes, Helm, OpenShift, Docker, Podman, and GitOps practices.
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
- Understanding of Agile methodologies including Scrum and Kanban.
- Ability to collaborate across development, QA, IT, and operations teams and adapt to new tools and cloud services.
