Responsibilities
- Develop speech-dialog system applications for the Android platform.
- Implement voice user interfaces and graphical user interfaces according to requirements.
- Ensure application performance, quality, and responsiveness.
- Collaborate with the team to define, design, and deliver new features.
- Identify and correct performance bottlenecks and bugs.
- Port speech-dialog systems to various Android devices.
- Fix audio issues on target Android devices.
- Maintain code quality, organization, and automation.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of professional work experience.
- Extensive experience with the Android framework and knowledge of HTTP and TCP protocols.
- Familiarity with Android Audio HAL, the Android audio framework, and Android OpenSLES for audio recording and playback.
- Experience developing hybrid applications.
- Experience with Bluetooth connectivity and Bluetooth audio programming.
- Understanding of Google Android application design principles and interface guidelines.
- Knowledge of user interface design and a focus on creating positive user experiences.
- Experience with performance and memory tuning tools.
- Familiarity with cloud messaging APIs and push notifications.
- Knowledge of socket programming, the Android NDK, and native code development.
- Familiarity with continuous integration and deployment.
- Strong C/C++ and Java programming skills.
- Preferred experience with voice interaction design and development.
- Preferred JavaScript/TypeScript programming skills and familiarity with Python scripting.
