Responsibilities
- Develop software solutions, scripts, integrations, dashboards, and automation for verification and validation teams.
- Implement and support L2, L3, and L4 testing processes, including dependencies, handoffs, and alignment with development and release processes.
- Define toolchain usage guidelines, test-tool configuration standards, and process documentation.
- Build integrations between Jira, Jama, TestRail, BI platforms, and internal systems using Python, SQL, and APIs.
- Automate test-data management, compliance checks, reporting, traceability, release-readiness, and KPI workflows.
- Standardize test data structures, fields, naming conventions, tags, and reporting expectations.
- Develop live dashboards, visualizations, and reports for V&V status, quality, risks, progress, and deliverables.
- Create automated data-migration utilities, legacy-data cleanup scripts, and test-data compliance checks.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or an equivalent combination of relevant education and experience.
- 5+ years of experience developing software solutions with Python.
- 5+ years of experience writing and optimizing SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, reporting, or analytics.
- 5+ years of experience working with REST APIs and building integrations between software tools, platforms, or enterprise systems.
- 2+ years of experience with BI, analytics, or dashboarding tools such as Power BI, Atlassian Analytics, Tableau, Looker, or Grafana.
- 2+ years of experience using assistive AI tools for software development, debugging, documentation, analysis, and productivity.
- Preferred experience includes Jira configuration and automation, Jama, TestRail, data pipelines, reporting automation, V&V processes, release processes, test traceability, DVP&R, reusable Python libraries, backend services, scheduled automation jobs, source control, CI/CD pipelines, and automated quality checks.
- Strong documentation, analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills are preferred.
