Base Salary
$97k - $145k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable Python code for Generative AI applications.
- Integrate Generative AI APIs such as OpenAI and Gemini.
- Implement and optimize Retrieval Augmented Generation systems.
- Develop and deploy backend services using FastAPI, Flask, or Django.
- Collaborate with product managers, data scientists, and engineers to define requirements and deliver solutions.
- Write unit and integration tests, participate in code reviews, and support software quality practices.
- Optimize application performance, scalability, and security.
- Monitor development through analysis, design, construction, testing, implementation, and operational support.
- Advise or coach new and lower-level analysts and serve as a subject-matter expert for stakeholders.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional software development experience with a strong focus on Python.
- Hands-on experience with Generative AI concepts and technologies.
- Experience using Generative AI APIs such as OpenAI and Gemini.
- Practical experience implementing Retrieval Augmented Generation systems.
- Expertise in at least one of FastAPI, Flask, or Django.
- Understanding of software development best practices, Git, testing, and CI/CD.
- Experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- Strong problem-solving, independent-working, teamwork, communication, and interpersonal skills.

- Full-time position based in Tampa, Florida.
- Base salary range of $96,960.00 to $145,440.00 per year.
