Responsibilities
- Perform complex product design, systems analysis, research, maintenance, troubleshooting, and programming across multiple systems and devices.
- Create architecture and design specifications spanning multiple devices and platforms.
- Own detailed technical design for mobile products and applications.
- Develop proof-of-concepts and estimates to influence technology choices.
- Guide senior engineers, mentor team members, and lead design and code reviews.
- Develop and integrate complex frameworks and collaborate across teams to ensure product interoperability.
- Participate in the full software development lifecycle from design through release.
- Provide training and consultation and collaborate with teams across several geographies.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- 12+ years of enterprise product development experience.
- Strong hands-on experience with Java/J2EE, HTML, JavaScript, CSS, and Python.
- Proficiency with a JavaScript framework such as AngularJS, Backbone, or React.
- Experience building AI agents and developing and deploying tools with agentic AI frameworks.
- Knowledge of AI trends, tools, best practices, and Natural Language Processing concepts and techniques.
- Experience with cloud application development using Spring Boot.
- Experience with web-based platform and application development, responsive design, and RESTful web services.
- Expertise with SQL Server, Oracle, Postgres, and HANA databases.
- Proficiency with SOAP, WSDL, XML, XML Schema, XPath, and object-oriented JavaScript.
- Understanding of microservice application architecture, middleware and application servers, infrastructure, and architectural design review.
- Strong programming, debugging, performance, security, and object-oriented development skills.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies, CI/CD, and DevOps tools.
- Experience liaising with geographically distributed teams; content management domain experience and OpenText product experience are additional advantages.
- Excellent communication and time management skills.
