Responsibilities
- Build and operate high-scale distributed systems.
- Provide product- and service-wide architectural guidance and drive impactful technical decisions.
- Establish and enforce best practices for coding, testing, observability, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Lead cross-team initiatives in performance optimization, reliability improvements, and adoption of new technologies and tools.
- Participate in on-call support, handle cloud incidents, and write root-cause analyses.
Requirements
- 5+ years of Java coding experience in highly distributed, enterprise-scale environments.
- Experience with Kafka, Druid, and ElasticSearch.
- Experience with on-call operations, cloud incidents, and writing RCAs.
- Working knowledge of cloud infrastructure services on AWS or Azure.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
- Demonstrated curiosity and active exploration of AI tools, including integrating new technologies into daily workflows.
