Responsibilities
- Create architecture, design specifications, and detailed technical designs for products across multiple devices and platforms.
- Develop mobile products, web applications, complex frameworks, and integrations using hands-on programming skills.
- Deliver proofs of concept and estimates for integrations and technology choices.
- Guide senior engineers and lead software design and code reviews to ensure quality and adherence to standards.
- Propose solutions balancing risk, complexity, effort, and business requirements.
- Mentor team members and collaborate across teams to ensure product interoperability, training, and consultation.
- Participate in the software development lifecycle from design through release within an Agile development framework.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- 8+ years of enterprise product development experience.
- Strong hands-on experience with Java/J2EE, HTML, JavaScript, and CSS.
- Strong programming, debugging, web-based platform/application development, and object-oriented development skills.
- Expertise with SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL, and HANA databases.
- Experience building and consuming web services using RESTful APIs, plus proficiency with SOAP, WSDL, XML, XML Schema, and XPath.
- Proficiency in UI development, object-oriented JavaScript programming, responsive design, and performance and security considerations for mobile and enterprise contexts.
- Knowledge of Agile development processes and strong communication and time-management skills.
- OScript knowledge or experience, content management domain experience, and familiarity with AI trends, tools, and best practices are advantageous.
- Experience building AI agents and tools or working with agentic AI frameworks and deploying tools and agents is advantageous.
