Responsibilities
- Design, develop, maintain, and operate Java-based microservices supporting enterprise identity and access management capabilities.
- Build secure authentication, authorization, entitlement, and customer access platforms.
- Develop scalable REST APIs and event-driven services.
- Deliver software using CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, and DevSecOps practices.
- Contribute to architecture discussions and technical design decisions.
- Collaborate with product owners, architects, and security teams.
- Use Claude Code and GitHub Copilot to accelerate delivery and improve code quality.
- Mentor engineers and contribute to engineering standards and best practices.
Requirements
- 12+ years of software engineering experience.
- Strong expertise with Java 17+/21 and RESTful API design.
- Proven experience building cloud-native microservices, distributed systems, high-availability platforms, and event-driven architectures.
- Strong understanding of domain-driven design, design patterns, API-first architecture, scalability, and performance optimization.
- Experience with enterprise IAM platforms, especially SailPoint and related identity ecosystems, is highly desirable.
- Strong experience with React, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3, including integration with secure APIs and identity services.
- Experience with Kafka, event streaming, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and Redis.
- Knowledge of high-volume transaction systems is preferred.
- Ability to independently drive complex technical initiatives and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
- Financial services, banking, or identity domain experience is preferred.
