Responsibilities
- Own customer solutions end-to-end by rapidly prototyping, iterating, deploying, and supporting solutions in live operational environments.
- Build LLM-based applications, RAG systems, multi-agent workflows, tool-use patterns, and agentic orchestration solutions.
- Build and maintain data pipelines covering ingestion, transformation, serving, and monitoring.
- Manage multiple customer engagements, set expectations, operate independently, and own outcomes.
- Develop trusted relationships with customer stakeholders from individual contributors through executive sponsors.
- Partner with Product and Engineering to turn field learnings into reusable platform capabilities.
- Mentor customer operators and guide teams through solution transitions and adoption.
- Measure success through business outcomes such as efficiency gains, exception reduction, and SLA improvements.
- Travel as required, up to 50%.
Requirements
- Hands-on experience building and shipping LLM-based applications, RAG systems, multi-agent workflows, tool-use patterns, and prompt or context engineering.
- Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools such as Copilot and Claude Code, including agentic IDE workflows.
- Understanding of agentic orchestration, including single-agent versus multi-agent architectures and memory and state management.
- Solid software engineering fundamentals and proficiency in at least one backend language, with Python strongly preferred.
- Ability to read and contribute across a polyglot codebase and experience integrating enterprise systems.
- Experience with authentication patterns and REST or streaming APIs.
- Ability to build and maintain data pipelines using tools such as Airflow, Kafka, dbt, or equivalents.
- Working familiarity with Snowflake, Databricks, BigQuery, or similar data platforms, including data modeling and performance fundamentals.
- Strong debugging ability with imperfect real-world data in production environments.
- 2–5 years of professional experience in software engineering, data engineering, solutions engineering, or a technical-founder role.
- Prior customer-facing technical experience in solutions engineering, forward deployment, technical consulting, or a startup environment is preferred but not required.
- Supply chain planning, logistics, or operations experience is preferred but not required.
- Ability to communicate clearly with engineering, product, business, and customer stakeholders and work independently in undefined problem spaces.
