Responsibilities
- Own customer solutions from prototyping and iteration through deployment in live operational environments.
- Build and ship LLM-based applications, RAG systems, multi-agent workflows, tool-use patterns, and agentic solutions on the Kinaxis Maestro Platform.
- Manage multiple customer engagements, set expectations, and own outcomes with limited supervision.
- Build and maintain data pipelines covering ingestion, transformation, serving, and monitoring.
- Work with Product and Engineering to turn field learnings into reusable platform capabilities.
- Troubleshoot production issues and improve solutions based on customer feedback.
- Build trusted relationships with customer stakeholders from individual contributors through executive sponsors.
- Guide customer transitions, mentor operators, and drive adoption of new ways of working.
Requirements
- Two to five years of professional experience in software engineering, data engineering, solutions engineering, or a technical-founder role.
- Hands-on experience building and shipping LLM-based applications, RAG systems, multi-agent workflows, tool-use patterns, and prompt or context engineering.
- Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools such as Copilot and Claude Code, including agentic IDE workflows.
- Strong software engineering fundamentals and proficiency in at least one backend language, with Python strongly preferred.
- Experience with REST and streaming APIs, authentication patterns, and enterprise system integrations.
- Ability to build and maintain data pipelines using tools such as Airflow, Kafka, dbt, or equivalents.
- Working familiarity with Snowflake, Databricks, BigQuery, or similar modern data platforms, including data modeling and performance fundamentals.
- Strong debugging ability with imperfect real-world production data.
- Customer-facing technical experience in solutions engineering, forward deployment, technical consulting, or an equivalent multi-disciplinary startup role is preferred.
- Supply chain planning, logistics, or operations experience is a plus.
- Ability to travel as required, up to 50%.
