Responsibilities
- Develop resilient distributed services and high-quality tooling supporting product operations and engineering.
- Investigate and debug complex issues spanning teams and applications.
- Drive software delivery and improve software development and release processes.
- Collaborate with application, analyst, and operations teams to improve data flow and engineering leverage.
Requirements
- Extensive backend software engineering experience.
- Proficiency developing with server-side object-oriented languages such as Java.
- Proficiency with Linux.
- Familiarity with CI/CD, monitoring, logging, containers, Kubernetes, and infrastructure-as-code.
- Familiarity with HTTP, REST, and web API development.
- Ability to work independently, act decisively, and navigate ambiguous problems.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
