Base Salary
$190k - $337k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and implement a modern release engineering system for safe and reliable software delivery.
- Own tools, processes, and standards for secure code-to-production deployment systems.
- Collaborate with various teams to establish scalable release workflows and delivery standards.
- Create self-service tooling for release creation and deployment orchestration.
- Manage build and release systems as production infrastructure, ensuring strong observability.
- Act as the technical authority for release engineering and lead cross-functional design initiatives.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in software, platform, or release engineering with demonstrated Staff-level ownership.
- Proven experience designing and operating CI/CD and build/release systems at scale.
- Strong expertise in build systems and artifact management, particularly with Bazel.
- Experience building deterministic, reproducible systems including performance considerations.
- Deep experience with end-to-end delivery systems, including release orchestration.
- Strong understanding of cloud-native systems and infrastructure as code.
