Responsibilities
- Develop and architect the cloud-native Stream Governance platform.
- Lead the design and implementation of complex backend services.
- Drive projects from requirements through to production rollout.
- Make architecture and technical decisions balancing reliability and performance.
- Mentor and support engineers through code and design reviews.
- Enhance the efficiency of the technology stack and adopt new solutions.
- Manage a mission-critical service with a 99.99 SLA across multiple regions.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to execute the roadmap for the Data Streaming Platform.
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in designing and operating backend systems.
- Proficiency in a major backend programming language like Java, Go, C/C++, or Python.
- Experience with distributed systems and event-driven architectures.
- Strong background in running production services in public cloud environments.
- Expertise in cloud-native technology and experience with on-call rotations.
- Proven experience in leading and mentoring technical teams.
- Strong communication skills to align stakeholders and drive decisions.
- BS, MS, or PhD in computer science, engineering, or related field.
