Base Salary
$190k - $220k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain frontend and backend features with clean, robust, and maintainable code.
- Design and implement user interfaces that provide teams and clients visibility into system behavior and performance.
- Support distributed backend systems with an emphasis on data accuracy, reliability, and operational excellence.
- Improve observability and monitoring through dashboards, alerts, and instrumentation.
- Design, implement, and process AdTech-scale data pipelines and ML solutions.
- Write unit, integration, and end-to-end tests while improving testing tools, coverage, and quality.
- Participate in code reviews and help align teams on technical decisions.
- Collaborate with Product and Engineering partners to scope projects, refine requirements, and deliver features on time.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience as a full-stack engineer using modern frontend and backend technologies.
- Hands-on AdTech experience with bidding systems, inventory, supply, and related systems.
- Experience with distributed systems and Kafka or similar streaming technologies.
- Strong backend development skills, ideally with Golang; experience with another modern backend language is also welcome.
- Strong experience with React or a comparable frontend framework is preferred.
- Familiarity with observability and monitoring tools such as Looker, OpenTelemetry, Centry, or New Relic.
- Experience or strong interest in data science and machine learning concepts or high-throughput AdTech-scale data solutions.
- Experience with automated testing frameworks and a commitment to testing quality.
- Strong communication, collaboration, problem-solving, and technical decision-making skills.
