Responsibilities

Develop and implement complex software projects primarily using Java 11–21.
Build and maintain highly available, performant, and scalable backend web services.
Work with Spring Boot, MongoDB, NoSQL environments, Docker, and Kubernetes.
Address technical debt in existing projects and apply current web standards and technologies to new features.
Take ownership of code quality and timely, bug-free project completion.
Participate in conceptual and agile development processes.
Share TDD knowledge, communicate clearly, and mentor teammates.
Use tools such as Claude Code to improve software quality and efficiency.

Minimum five years of software development experience.
Strong backend development experience with deep knowledge of Java 11–21 and Spring Boot.
Familiarity with scalable web service architecture and modern user interfaces.
Experience with MongoDB and willingness to develop expertise in NoSQL environments.
Familiarity with Docker containerization and Kubernetes orchestration.
Experience with TDD and agile software development practices such as Scrum or Kanban.
Strong communication, teamwork, and mentorship abilities.
Reactive Programming and Virtual Threads experience is a plus.
Openness to using AI tools such as Claude Code.
