Base Salary

$95k - $135k/yr

Responsibilities

Design, build, and maintain backend services, REST APIs, and integrations using Python and frameworks such as FastAPI, Flask, or Django.
Develop distributed services with token-based authentication and role-based access controls.
Integrate internal applications with third-party systems, external APIs, and Snowflake.
Build LLM-powered features including model API integrations, prompt workflows, structured outputs, and retrieval-based applications.
Write secure, modular code and develop unit, integration, and automated tests.
Participate in code reviews, Git workflows, and CI/CD pipelines.
Troubleshoot application, integration, data, and production issues.
Collaborate with architects, engineers, data teams, product owners, and clients to translate requirements into implementation plans and technical documentation.

3–5 years of software development or consulting experience.
Strong Python proficiency and experience with at least one of FastAPI, Flask, or Django.
Working knowledge of Node.js and TypeScript.
Understanding of REST API design, microservices, authentication, and service-to-service integration.
Experience with Git workflows, CI/CD, and automated testing.
Hands-on Snowflake experience involving data migration, querying, and application integration.
Experience integrating LLMs through hosted model APIs or enterprise AI platforms.
Strong debugging, communication, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and in multidisciplinary teams.
Finance business understanding.
