Responsibilities
- Gather and analyze functional requirements to define test strategies and automation scope.
- Design and develop automated test scripts using Selenium, Cucumber, and Core Java.
- Build and maintain scalable automation frameworks for web and API testing.
- Perform API automation using Karate and/or Rest Assured.
- Execute functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing.
- Integrate automation suites with source control and CI/CD processes.
- Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and stakeholders to ensure quality deliverables.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and support continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements
- 8+ years of overall experience is required.
- 6+ years of experience gathering functional requirements.
- 6+ years of Selenium BDD automation experience.
- 4+ years of Cucumber experience.
- 6+ years of Core Java experience, including data structures and algorithms.
- 4+ years of API automation experience with Karate and/or Rest Assured.
- At least 1 year of Git experience.
- Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Agile methodologies.
- Experience with automation framework development, Jenkins, Maven or Gradle, Postman, database testing, and CI/CD integration is preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, IT, or a related field is required.
- Candidates must be based in Bangalore.
