Responsibilities
- Build and evolve shared platform capabilities to improve reliability and scalability.
- Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions.
- Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.
- Support and improve containerized workloads using Docker and Azure Container Apps.
- Build and maintain monitoring and observability systems using Datadog and OpenTelemetry.
- Drive cross-team platform and architectural improvements.
- Investigate and resolve infrastructure and platform-related issues.
- Improve developer experience through tooling and automation.
- Collaborate with engineering and product teams to implement platform solutions.
- Contribute to cloud cost optimization and security fundamentals.
- Deliver operational support for the platform as part of an on-call rotation.
Requirements
- 3–5+ years of experience in software engineering, platform engineering, DevOps, or site reliability engineering.
- Strong proficiency in C#, .NET, and SQL.
- Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions or similar tools.
- Strong experience with Azure cloud platforms and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform).
- Experience with Docker containerization and cloud-native application deployments.
- Deep understanding of distributed systems design.
- Solid understanding of observability and production operations.
- Experience improving developer experience through tooling and automation.
- Proven experience driving cross-team platform or architectural improvements.
- Understanding of cloud security fundamentals.
- Good understanding of infrastructure fundamentals (Linux, Windows, DNS, networking).
- Experience automating workflows using scripting languages.
- Strong foundations in software design and engineering best practices.
- Familiarity with a range of data storage technologies.
- Excellent communication skills for collaboration across distributed teams.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving with a self-starter mindset.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
