Responsibilities
- Develop customer engagement strategies with Account Executives for the designated territory.
- Coach junior Solutions Architects and teams on use-case prioritization and building technical champions.
- Influence stakeholders across complex engagements involving the wider cloud ecosystem and third-party applications.
- Act as an expert solution architect and trusted advisor for data analytics architecture, design, and adoption of the Databricks Data Intelligence Platform.
- Develop customer-facing collateral and lead workshops, seminars, and meet-ups.
- Pursue development across technical specialization, industry vertical thought leadership, strategic customer vision, or people management tracks.
Requirements
- Experience engaging in complex customer interactions and technical pre-sales sales lifecycles.
- Ability to influence decision-makers and C-level executives by building relationships and orchestrating teams for long-term customer success.
- Prior coding experience in a core programming language such as Python, Java, or Scala, plus willingness to learn a foundational level of Spark.
- Hands-on expertise with complex proofs of concept and public cloud platforms.
- Ability to provide technical solutions for specialized customer needs and navigate a competitive landscape.
