Responsibilities
- Partner with account executives and cross-functional teams to drive technical wins across the sales cycle.
- Present Snowflake’s vision, platform, and value to technical and executive audiences.
- Conduct customer discovery, demonstrations, workshops, and proof-of-concept engagements.
- Guide customers on data architecture, solution design, and implementation considerations across analytics, data engineering, AI/ML, performance, and governance.
- Translate customer business challenges into practical solution patterns that drive adoption and long-term value.
- Build trusted relationships with architects, engineers, platform teams, and business stakeholders.
- Position Snowflake in relation to competitive and complementary technologies.
- Collaborate with Product Management, Engineering, and Marketing to improve products, messaging, and field effectiveness.
- Advocate internally for customer needs and represent Snowflake at customer meetings, executive briefings, workshops, and industry events.
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience in customer-facing solutions engineering, sales engineering, solution architecture, or technical pre-sales.
- Strong competency across modern data stacks, including ETL/ELT, data warehouses, data lakes, analytics, and cloud-native data platforms.
- Experience working with enterprise customers in complex technical and stakeholder environments.
- Hands-on technical capability with SQL and Python.
- Ability to connect customer technical and business challenges to practical Snowflake solutions.
- Strong presentation, communication, relationship-building, and technical simplification skills.
- Confidence facilitating whiteboarding sessions, technical workshops, and solution discussions.
- Pragmatic, collaborative, hands-on approach with a self-starter mindset.
