Responsibilities

  • Support Qualcomm automotive customers using Snapdragon chipsets.
  • Provide end-to-end support for customer AI model deployment and optimization on the QC SoC AI accelerator engine.
  • Communicate with customers and internal development or engineering teams to understand requirements and system design.
  • Debug embedded operating-system, system-level, processor, power-management, and crash-related issues.
  • Coordinate stakeholders and manage tasks across complex, multi-domain features.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field with 2+ years of relevant experience, or a master's degree with 1+ year of relevant experience, or a PhD in a related field.
  • Embedded software knowledge and device-driver development experience on an embedded operating system such as Windows, Android, or Linux.
  • Knowledge of AI model concepts and architectures and experience with AI frameworks such as ONNX or PyTorch.
  • Understanding of kernel architecture, operating-system services, heap and memory management, multicore and multithreading concepts, and crash debugging.
  • At least 1 year of academic or professional experience with a programming language such as C, C++, Java, or Python and with debugging techniques.
  • Experience architecting system-level features and working on complex, multi-domain features.
  • Native Japanese language skills and English communication skills for collaboration with Japanese customers and global engineering teams.
  • Strong written, interpersonal, problem-solving, communication, coordination, and learning skills are required.
  • AD/ADAS AI stack development experience is preferred.
