Responsibilities
- Collaborate as an individual contributor through code reviews, mentorship, technical direction, and support for feature teams.
- Design, implement, test, and manage reusable infrastructure-as-code modules with Terraform.
- Deploy, configure, maintain, monitor, and optimize Kubernetes clusters using GKE and EKS.
- Develop and maintain internal CI/CD systems and automate build and release processes with tools such as Argo CD and Atlantis.
- Diagnose and resolve platform performance, scalability, reliability, and security issues using logs and metrics.
- Drive automation for infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, monitoring, and operational workflows.
- Partner with development teams to translate infrastructure and developer-experience needs into platform features and roadmaps.
- Build internal platform tools, APIs, and services that improve self-service and developer productivity.
- Implement cloud security, access control, vulnerability management, encryption, compliance practices, security audits, and penetration testing.
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience in platform engineering, DevOps engineering, or related roles.
- Strong software engineering fundamentals and hands-on coding experience in Go, TypeScript, or other relevant languages.
- Hands-on experience with GCP, AWS, Kubernetes, GKE, EKS, and Terraform.
- Proven experience building and maintaining scalable, reliable, secure cloud infrastructure with an emphasis on automation and efficiency.
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Argo CD, Atlantis, or similar technologies.
- Understanding of networking concepts and protocols.
- Extensive experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, and the ELK stack.
- Knowledge of cloud security best practices and prior experience with platform engineering projects.
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a remote, distributed team.
