Responsibilities
- Build and extend end-to-end features for large volumes of geospatial data across mobile, browser, and backend applications.
- Architect services that integrate heterogeneous data and enable users to prioritize competing tasks.
- Own the next major evolution of LiveEO’s public API.
- Drive the continuous development of agentic solutions.
- Lead cross-functional teams through discovery, design, architecture, release, monitoring, and maintenance.
- Write efficient database queries and implement data-driven logic, integrations, and production refactorings.
Requirements
- Expert backend experience, ideally with NestJS, Express, or Node.js.
- Strong understanding of cloud architecture.
- Solid production experience with TypeScript and React, or comparable component-model frameworks such as Vue, Preact, or Angular.
- Experience using AI-assisted coding in day-to-day work.
- Preferred: spec-driven or test-driven development, agentic development, Python, experience with multiple programming paradigms, web-based geospatial or GIS work, and an eye for design and UX.
