Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain Oracle and MySQL databases in development and production environments.
- Lead planning and execution of database replacement and refresh initiatives as a project leader.
- Lead the database project and database team.
- Respond to system infrastructure incidents and drive problem resolution.
- Coordinate with external vendors and outsourced partners to deliver and maintain infrastructure.
- Prepare application and business-department environments and support infrastructure work from upstream planning through downstream operations.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience designing, implementing, and maintaining Oracle databases.
- At least 5 years of experience designing, implementing, and maintaining MySQL databases.
- At least 2 years of experience as an in-house system engineer or internal IT engineer.
- Preferred experience leading entire system projects as a project leader.
- Preferred experience working in the financial industry.
- Ability to take ownership, communicate effectively across departments, and independently perform system construction and troubleshooting.
- Advanced Japanese language proficiency, specified as Overall level 3.
