Responsibilities
- Identify and remediate vulnerabilities across applications, data, infrastructure, and processes.
- Analyze threats and security implications of design decisions with partner teams.
- Help teams build security into applications from the ground up.
- Develop tailored security solutions and creative approaches to complex challenges.
- Partner with system owners to identify potential exploits and resolve vulnerabilities.
- Balance security controls with business requirements.
- Teach and transfer knowledge about threat modeling.
Requirements
- Offensive security background and practical threat modeling skills.
- Ability to build and implement secure solutions from the ground up.
- Strong Linux and terminal skills with confidence in scripting.
- Ability to evaluate security tradeoffs, make risk-based decisions, and troubleshoot complex problems hands-on.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills with a collaborative mindset.
- Ability to teach others and transfer knowledge about threat modeling.
- Ability to take accountability and document decision-making rationale.
- Proficiency in any programming language is a plus.
- Fluency in English is required.
