Responsibilities
- Architect and deliver Salesforce Education Cloud solutions across the full implementation lifecycle, from scoping and discovery through deployment and support.
- Translate customer business needs into technical requirements, system landscapes, designs, estimates, and maintainable enterprise solutions.
- Design, configure, customize, develop, integrate, and support Salesforce applications using Apex, Lightning, Visualforce, LWC, and related technologies.
- Lead workshops, create UML diagrams and design documentation, and ensure solutions follow development and architectural best practices.
- Work with customers, partners, sales, delivery managers, functional architects, engineering, and services teams to maximize Salesforce product value.
- Lead and mentor development and QA teams while overseeing testing, performance requirements, and delivery quality.
- Develop proofs of concept and assist customers and partners with complex coding and integration tasks.
- Lead internal initiatives that expand the consulting practice and contribute to organizational knowledge.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience developing technology solutions.
- 8+ years of experience working on deployment teams, ideally using Agile development techniques.
- Extensive Education Sector experience, including digital transformation and Education Cloud projects implementing student lifecycle journeys.
- Knowledge of Education Cloud focus areas including recruitment, admissions, onboarding, career readiness, alumni operations, academic operations, and student lifecycle management.
- Successful delivery of customer projects, preferably enterprise CRM implementations for education clients.
- Experience leading teams through analysis, design, and implementation of complex solutions.
- Strong Salesforce integration experience across business systems and integration tools.
- Strong experience with Apex APIs, Apex Triggers, Apex classes, Apex Web Services, APIs, AppExchange deployment, and implementing Salesforce instances from scratch.
- Strong experience with OmniStudio, Business Rules Engine, and Experience Cloud integration.
- Practical knowledge of Lightning, Visualforce, Flex, and LWC, plus familiarity with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Web Components.
- Understanding of DevOps and release management for large-scale transformation projects.
- Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Business, or a related field.
- Salesforce Education Cloud, Sales Cloud, or Service Cloud certification is desired.
- Agentforce, Data Cloud, and AI productivity-tool experience, including Cursor, Claude, or NotebookLM, is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with customers, partners, and internal teams.
