Responsibilities
- Design, develop, document, and maintain test tools, test cases, and automation frameworks.
- Plan, write, execute, and automate functional and data validation test plans.
- Design and implement scalable, extensible, maintainable, and high-performance test automation frameworks.
- Develop end-to-end test strategies and build quality, performance, and reliability into software platforms.
- Collaborate with product management, software engineering, DevOps, infrastructure, and other technical teams on release planning and QA environments.
- Support unit-test reviews, issue diagnosis, defect management, root-cause analysis, and resolution.
- Analyze data health and consistency and document automation functions, interfaces, performance criteria, test cases, and results.
- Estimate work, coordinate tasks, and communicate technical execution and results across Agile scrum teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field, or 4 to 5 years of technical experience as an SDET or similar professional.
- At least 2 years of applied professional experience in an object-oriented programming language.
- Experience with the full software development lifecycle, including code standards and reviews, source control, building, and testing.
- Professional experience developing and testing in Java.
- Experience developing tests with Selenium libraries.
- Experience designing, implementing, maintaining, and scaling test automation frameworks.
- Strong experience developing and implementing end-to-end test strategies.
- Understanding of and prior work experience with Agile development.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact effectively across organizational levels.
- Preferred experience integrating software test automation into CI/CD processes using Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, and Linux.
- Preferred experience with microservice architecture, backend testing, API testing, and Jenkins or other CI/CD tools.
